Salient Hospitalist is a full service Hospitalist Management and Staffing company formed in 2010. Our purpose is to operate highly effective Hospitalist Services on behalf of select hospitals located in the Southeast. Our goal is that our Hospitalist Services be characterized by clinical excellence, steady growth, financial stability, and healthy working relationships.

Our uniqueness is rooted in the respective backgrounds and talent sets of our leadership team. Our team reflects a melding of physician leadership, hospital executive leadership, and executive healthcare sales experience into one dynamic team. Our uniqueness is further defined by our focus - we desire to manage each program well and are very concerned that we not outstrip our resources and ability to deliver excellence.

If we have one imperative it is that the alignment of hospitalist and hospital interests is critical to success. The journey of aligning interests begins with recruiting physicians who embrace this philosophy. The process is then fostered through creating a culture emphasizing the needs of the hospital and the expectations of the medical staff. Finally, the "alignment journey" is facilitated by implementing a MD compensation methodology which rewards behaviors and outcomes consistent with and supportive of the overall hospital objectives.

Salient Hospitalist is an outgrowth of Salient Health Ventures which was formed in 2004. "Connecting Physicians and Hospitals" was our stated purpose when Salient Health Ventures was initially formed. And we believe that Salient Hospitalist is our most exciting opportunity to fulfill this commitment.
